We decided to focus our attention on our historical village centre in Heston to clean up, weed pavements and gutters, and to provide wooden troughs of spring plants.

Over time we want to increase the number of handmade planters around the village where residents will see the growth of bright flowers during spring and summer, and improve a sense of wellbeing.

Our War Memorial has also been granted a budget from interested parties to renovate stonework, include missing names, revamp the planting around it and uplighting the statue. This resulting in a conserved monument for the future and appropriate planting and signage explaining the history associated with Heston.
