Mayor’s Oak planted…
Heston Action Group helped the Mayor and Greenspace plant a new mini-forest and a wonderful Oak tree in Sutton Fields, Heston in mid-March.
There was a great turnout of community volunteers and park rangers in Sutton Fields, Heston on the 19 th March 2022.
The new mini-forest or copse was resourced by the Woodland Trust for the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy and planted by the volunteers.
Also present were the Mayor of Hounslow, Deputy Lieutenant Paul Kennerley and Seema Malhotra at heston community Garden.
The Mayor planted a very special Oak Tree as a legacy of this special Queen’s Jubilee Year.
