This past July, HAG had a great turn out at Sutton Playing Fields. The main focus was on watering the trees in the mini-forest planted in Autumn 2020.
It was fantastic to see that as the grass was trimmed away, it revealed the growing saplings. As there is no water source in this green space, water containers are filled and brought from home, which was particular important during the summer months.
There are roughly 50 newly-planted trees in this mini-forest and HAG are focussed on helping to keep these adopted trees alive for future generation.
