Boston Manor Park’s Crowning Glory

It’s a tribute that’s fit for a queen and heads above the competition. To commemorate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Boston Manor Park in Brentford now boasts its very own royal crown.

Carved from solid oak, the royal crown takes pride of place on the tree-lined avenue by the main lawn outside the Manor House.

The intricately-crafted sculpture bears an inscription of the Royal Cipher: ER and the dates of Her Majesty’s reign.

Boston Manor Park is one of the jewels in the crown of Hounslow green spaces and is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound Lottery-funded transformation.

The park’s lake is being restored along with other ecological enhancements, a new café and learning space are being built. Other infrastructure improvements and an increase in accessibility throughout the park are underway.

The royal crown is the perfect location for a Jubilee-themed selfie photograph. Why not visit it this weekend? We would love to see your snaps, share them on Twitter and tag us in @LBofHounslow.
